Personalize the Dashboard and printed reports in Join by setting a Print Header
Setting a Print Header is a great way to personalize your Project to your team and helps create a more professional feel when presenting information in or reports from Join to project stakeholders. Join offers two options for print headers, selecting a logo from an invited Company in the project or uploading a custom image.
Setting a Print Header
To set an existing (built-in or previously uploaded) Print Header, you'll need to:
- From within your Project, select the Settings page
- Scroll down to the Print Header section
- Click the Print Header dropdown and select from the available Printer Headers
Note: If your company logo is blank or incorrect email support@join.build to update it
Uploading a new Header
If you want a more customized option, you can upload a new custom Print Header image by following these instructions:
- From within your Project, select the Settings page
- Scroll down to the Print Header section
- Click Upload New Header
- Give the header a name
- Either drag & drop or browse for your Print Header image
- Click Save and Close
Tips for creating your custom Header
Your banner should be at least 300px tall (typically around 1” in most software) and be no wider than 1:16 i.e. if your image is 1” tall, it should be no wider than 16”.
Ideally, it should be in SVG or PNG format with a transparent background, but we support most major image formats.
Our customers will often include logos for the principal members of the project team, such as the design team, owner, and general contractor. They'll use external software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, a photo/image editor, or a PDF editor to combine those logos and create the Print Header.
If you're unsure where to start, you can download our Print Header Template and follow the instructions below, or reach out to support@join.build and let us know what you're looking for. We'll do our best to create it for you.
