Learn how to control the way owner costs are displayed
Owner costs can be displayed or hidden depending on the selected Project Costs display settings. Owner cost can be included in the cost summary in the navigation bar, dashboard, milestone estimate, and reports.
Project Costs Display Settings
Owner costs can be shown or excluded by choosing from two Project Costs Display settings. To switch between these display modes, click the Settings icon and then click the Project Costs Display drop-down in the navigation bar to select the desired setting.
- Cost of Construction - Owner costs are not included in the cost summary in the navigation bar, dashboard, milestone estimate, or reports.
- Project Total - Owner costs are included with the Cost of Construction totals in the cost summary in the navigation bar, dashboard, milestone estimate, and reports.
Tip: If Project Total is selected, the dashboard project cost breakdown chart includes owner costs in the markup column. See example below.
Project Administrators can control which cost display settings are available in the navigation bar for other users based on their role. For more information, learn about Roles and Permissions here.
Note: This setting is specific to each user and is not a project-level setting.
