[Item Library](https://success.join.build/en/knowledge/items?hsLang=en#item-library) # Item Library ## The Item Library is a historical repository of all the Items used across your Join projects. ### Item Library Overview The Item Library is a centralized repository in Join where you can search, sort, and filter Items across multiple projects. To access the Item Library, click **Item Library** in the Company section of the navigation panel. ![](https://success.join.build/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-01-2026-05-14-40-0338-PM.png?width=670&height=355&name=image-png-Sep-01-2026-05-14-40-0338-PM.png) ### Working in the Item Library #### Searching Items Use the search bar at the top of the page to search for keywords in the Item Name. #### Filtering Items Filter the list of Items by clicking the **Show Filters** toggle at the top of the page, then applying Project-level or Item-level filters using the available fields in the filters panel on the left. #### Sorting Items You can sort the list of Items by any column by clicking the arrow in the column header. #### Viewing Item Details To view the details of an Item in the Item Library, click the **Details** button on the far right to expand the Item sidebar, or click the name of the Item to open the full details of the Item within the project itself. ***Tip:** You can [copy an Item](https://success.join.build/en/knowledge/copying-an-item#copying_from_item_library) to reuse on another project from within the Item sidebar by clicking the **Copy Item** button.* ### Item Visibility By default, all users can view published (not [draft](https://success.join.build/en/knowledge/draft-items?hsLang=en)) Items across the projects they have access to. To view Items across *all* projects in your company, you must have a [company role](https://success.join.build/en/knowledge/managing-employees-in-join#company_roles) of Manager, Executive, or Administrator. If you need broader access, contact your company administrator to update your company role. ***Note:** Your Item data is only visible to companies that you have invited to your projects.
