Learn how to detach Options from an Item

When working with Items with Options, they can be detached from an existing Item to become a standalone Item.

Detaching an Option From an Item

If an Option is no longer mutually exclusive you can detach it from its parent Item to convert it into a standalone Item. Also, if you would like to delete an Option, it must first be detached from its parent Item, and then you can delete it like an Item.

To detach an Option from an Item, follow these steps:

1. Click the Items tab in the top navigation bar
2. Click the name of the parent Item of the Option to go to the Item detail view
3. In the Options section, hover over the Option and click the Detach Option button on the far right
4. Click the Detach button in the Detach option window to confirm you want to detach the Option from the Item
