[Categorizations](https://success.join.build/en/knowledge/project-settings?hsLang=en#categorizations) # Correcting Category Errors ## Learn how to fix unmatched category errors during or after an Estimate or Budget import by selecting an existing category or adding a new one. Unmatched category errors occur during an estimate or budget import when category codes do not match an existing category in the system. You can fix these errors by selecting a replacement category or by adding the unmatched category to your existing list. Corrections can be made during the [estimate import process](https://success.join.build/en/knowledge/importing-an-estimate-file?hsLang=en) or after the import is complete from the Milestone Estimate and Budget pages.  ### Selecting an Existing Category Replace the unmatched category with an existing category using one of the following options. #### Replacing an Existing Category for a Single Cell 1. Select a replacement category from the list of existing categories 3. Click the **Right Arrow** ![](https://success.join.build/hubfs/image-png-Jan-06-2023-06-51-16-0864-PM.png) in the row containing the category you want to replace 4. Select **Replace (Category Name) with...** 5. Select a replacement category from the list of existing categories 6. Click the **Ok** button to confirm 7. This option is not available for company-level standard categorizations. #### Adding a Single Category to the List 1. Select **Add to (Categorization Name)** 5. Click the **Ok** button to confirm 6.
